Welcome to the University of Zurich!
In the week before the autumn semester begins, we invite all new students to the Welcome Days. There, you’ll find out everything you need to know for a successful start and receive valuable tips on how to organise and plan your studies effectively.
The next Welcome Days will take place at the start of the autumn semester 2027, from 6 to 10 September 2027.
The Welcome Days begins with the Warm-up Day for all new students at UZH. The faculty-specific induction days will take place throughout the week. Information on the faculties’ induction days will be available in due course on the University of Zurich website.
The warm-up day as part of the Freshers’ Week offers you the perfect opportunity to get to know your new university. Through a range of engaging sessions, you’ll learn how the digital tools and learning platforms work, receive helpful tips for your first few weeks, and have the chance to ask experienced students your questions directly.
